Ski Trip to Mt. Snow, VT - Weekend of March 3, 2012 Sugar Bowl

The Club will be purchasing reduced-priced lift tickets to Mt. Snow, VT, and will be offering them to AAUM members at even greater reduced prices.  We will also be looking into booking a block of rooms at the Snow Lake Lodge near the base of the mountain (it’s not ski-on ski-off, but it is walking distance to The Snow Barn, which has great apres-ski).

We need to know how many of you would be interested in the ski trip.  Please RSVP to
rob.frangione@frangione.net so that he can purchase tickets and block out rooms.  Once we have a preliminary headcount we can let you know what the cost for the rooms will be, as we may be able to get a group rate if we have a large enough group.  Please RSVP by Friday, January 6, 2012.

Bring your friends, bring your family, and come join your Michigan family for what I know will be a good time.

New Webmaster Needed

We still are looking for someone to act as our Club webmaster, because the Club’s website needs to be updated.  The time commitment is relatively small, and it would help the Club greatly.  If you’re interested, please email Rob Frangione at rob.frangione@frangione.net.

Need a Year-end Tax Deduction?

The club has a scholarship fund that benefits current students from Fairfield County, and they need your support. Donate online via the club's Web site. All donations are tax-deductible.

Scholorship Program

Each year our club awards a one-time scholarship to one or more U-M freshmen from Fairfield County. The scholarship ranges from $500 to $1,500 and is based on both need and merit. The award is named in honor of the late George J. Lepofsky, the major donor when the scholarship was started years ago. The funds are held by the University for the club, and all donations are tax-deductible. You may make your donation online at http://alumni.umich.edu/volunteer/give.php.
